After breakfast, drive to Assisi and tour on foot, the town of beloved St. Francis. Visit the Basilica of St. Francis, with its wonderful artwork by Giotto, the Church St. Clare, which houses her incorrupt body. Visit the tomb of Blessed Carlo Acutis. Dinner and overnight in Assisi.

Assisi

Visit the Portiuncula, which is a small stone chapel located within the Papal Basilica of St. Mary of the Angels. It became the birthplace of the Order of Friars Minor and two years later, the beginning of the Order of St. Clare of Assisi. St. Francis of Assisi died at the Portiuncula that can still be visited today. Dinner and overnight in Assisi.

Loreto

Drive early to Loreto and visit the Basilica della Santa Casa, a Marian shrine in Loreto, which was transported by the angels from Nazareth to Loreto. Travel to San Giovanni Rotondo to visit the Shrine of Padre Pio. Overnight in San Giovanni Rotondo (SGR).

San Giovanni Rotondo

After breakfast, enjoy an extensive visit including his tomb at the New Basilica. Drive to the cave of St Michael Archangel. Dinner and overnight in SGR.

Rome

Early morning drive to Rome. Visit the Basilicas of St. Paul Outside the Walls, St. John Lateran, St. Mary Major, and Scala Santa. Dinner and overnight in Rome.
