Mexico City International Airport Benito Juárez

Depart from USA Airport and arrive in Mexico City. You will be welcomed at the airport by our English- speaking tour guide. We will have a city orientation tour and proceed to the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe for our Mass and first visit to our Lady. Dinner and overnight in Mexico City.

Puebla

After breakfast, we travel to Puebla and have a short city orientation, then visit the Cathedral of Puebla and the famous Holy Rosary chapel. Lunch in Puebla. Proceed to the town of Ocotlan. See the image of Our Lady burnt into a tree trunk after she appeared to Juan Diego Bernardino in 1541 (not the same Juan Diego of Our Lady of Guadalupe). Drive back to Mexico City for dinner and overnight in our hotel.

Day 3

Jul 30, 2026

Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe

After breakfast, enjoy an extensive visit of the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe. View the tilma of St. Juan Diego, which still bears Our Lady’s imprint. Climb Mt Tepeyac to the chapel on top, site of the first apparition. In the afternoon, enjoy a sightseeing tour of the Zocalo, the heart of Mexico City, including the Cathedral and baptismal place of Juan Diego. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 4

Jul 31, 2026

Xochimilco

After breakfast, drive to National Museum of Anthropology, which started as a retreat for Aztec rulers then rebuilt into the palace of Emperor Maximilian of Habsburg, then the residence for Mexico’s presidents, then converted into the National History Museum Anthropology, which is also part of Chapultepec Park. After lunch, drive to Xochimilco, a marine ecological reserve and UNESCO World Heritage site. We ride a ‘trainer,’ a colorful flatbottomed boat, and drift through waterways dotted with floating gardens of flowers. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Pyramids of Teotihuacan

After breakfast, visit the place of apparition of Our Lady to Juan Bernardino, uncle of Juan Diego. Proceed to the pyramids of Teotihuacan, the place of Sun and Moon, the temple of Quetzalcoatl.
